Are you graduating this semester? Are you a current or former Cougar Safe Rides (or Women's Transit) volunteer who has contributed 24 hours or more to the program over your career?

If you answered yes to both of these questions, then we have a gift for you! Email us at [email protected] if you think you've earned a CSR graduation honor cord! We can verify your hours.

Please help spread the word to former volunteers! I know we have many volunteers from prior semesters who are eligible but might not see this message - we would love to ensure they receive recognition for their service!

Volunteer Highlight: Rielly MacPherson

Rielly has been volunteering since the Fall semester of 2018. Since the start of her volunteering career she has accumulated over 130 hours of service. She loves to dispatch and does an incredible job at it, so if you call she might just be who you talk to!

A bit about Rielly:

Rielly is a sophomore studying Zoology and Pre-med. She started volunteering with Cougar Safe Rides because β€œI know so many people who benefit from this program and I want to help keep it running.” A fun fact about her is that she has 6 different animals including an axolotl!

Thank you Rielly for being an outstanding Volunteer!

Cougar Safe Rides will be closed March 8 - March 16 for the WSU spring break.

Congratulations to our newest volunteer highlight! Theresa Wong was chosen for hardworking, pleasant attitude during her shifts!

She is in her third year at WSU, on the pre-optometry track. A fun fact about Theresa, in her words is:
