Well, 2026 sure didn’t start out the way we thought it would. It’s been a ride, full of surprises here at JK Hemphill Transport. We have officially made our last run. We want to send a special thank you to both sets of our parents for all the support along the way as well as Shippers LLC for all the transport loads and a big thank you to Trevor Gregory at Evergreen Shippers for being such an amazing person to work with. Last but not least, to the owner and operator Josh- well.. see below.

Shakira also known as most recent hauling rig has officially had her last ride here at JK Hemphill transport. As she moves onto dump runs and day to day drives for the family she passes the lead role to ol’blue faithful international semi. - ol’faithful has alot of life left in her and we are excited for the next journey here at JK hemphill and all the trasport needs she will allow us to hall over the next years!

Here at JK Hemphill Transport our truck named Shakira “hips don’t lie” as we have named our dually had a tire issue on the pass hauling this container over to Spokane. Thank you to Les Schwab in Cle Elum she has some new rubber on the passenger side! Long day for Josh but he made it and so did Shakira! 😉

This past Friday we moved a total of 7,000 lbs. of Steel Pipe Steel pipe(8 bundles) from Kent, Washington to Burlington, Washington.
