Another fair parade in the books! Thanks to our employees, families, and friends that helped put 7,000 half pints of chocolate milk into the hands of many community members on Wednesday night.

Tonight you will find us in the sale barn beginning at 6pm - we anticipate an evening of good fellowship and strong community support for our local kids at their livestock auction.

Hosted our families and friends for an open house at our new facility! Thanks to Penny's Ice Cream Truck, The Pretzel Place Food Truck, The Happy Traveler Mobile Bar, and Lancaster Bounce House. We never get enough pictures, but it was a wonderful night of celebration.

Career Day on Wheels!

On Friday Mike and Mikey Carr visited a local elementary school to share about the truck driving profession!

Meanwhile Caitlyn and the boys handled getting all the subs handed out and Chris B. represented us at Risser’s Poultry event.

It takes a lot of people to get everything done, be where we need to be, and still get the everyday hauling completed. Thankful for our hardworking team and how they represent us so well.

It’s that time of year when Milky Haven does its sub sale benefit! This year we thought it was most appropriate that proceeds benefit the family of Frankie Thomas. 6 weeks ago, Frankie tragically passed away as a result of a trucking accident. Proceeds will help the family cover their bills for the next few months as they figure out what life looks like now for their family. Frankie was the joy of his whole family and beloved by so many. He leaves behind the family he was providing for: Donna (mom), siblings Miguel, Nevaeh, Zeke and two young nephews (one of whom was born just days after the accident).

Below is the online link to the sale! Subs will be delivered to Milky Haven Farms/Rhoadstar office on May 17, 2024 and available for pick up between 11-4. Orders are due by May 7. We offer the online sale, paper order forms (link attached in comments), you can pay via PayPal, cash/check! If you wish to donate directly to the family the go fund me page that has been organized is also attached in the comments section of this post!
