Some places win you over before you even reach the beach. 🌿 Secrets Akumal did that for me with its lush paths and thoughtful details. These were the corners I kept stopping to film. Save this if a garden-like resort is your kind of escape.

Not your typical all-inclusive—and that’s exactly the vibe. 🌴🥃

Bahia Principe Escape Tequila is for travelers who want more than a quiet week beside the pool. It’s lively, social and especially well-suited for friend groups, singles’ getaways, and bachelor or bachelorette trips.

By day, you can relax around the beautiful grounds, unwind in your comfortable room or jump into a foam pool party with games. By night, the energy shifts to themed parties inside the Casita—including the infamous Divorce Party with performers, dancing and plenty of tequila shots. 👀💃

What surprised me most was how comfortable and welcoming the resort still felt. You can party when you want to, but the rooms and grounds give you somewhere relaxing to come home to afterward.

If your ideal vacation is equal parts relaxation and late-night fun, this might be your kind of all-inclusive.

Someone has to experience the resorts, explore the destinations, eat the food, find the hidden gems, and figure out what’s actually worth your precious vacation days.

Some resorts are beautiful… and some just get you the second you walk in. 🌿🤍

Secrets Akumal pleasantly surprised me in SO many ways.

I fell in love almost immediately with the lush, garden-like setting and all of the thoughtful little design details throughout the property. Then came the gorgeous spa, the wedding suite, the beach… and somehow I just kept finding more things I loved.

But one of the details that really stuck with me? 🐢 The care taken to protect the sea turtle nests along the beach. It was such a special part of experiencing Akumal and added another layer to a property I was already falling for.

Romantic, peaceful, lush and incredibly thoughtful—this is one I’m very happy I got to experience in person.

If your honeymoon wish list sounds like: quiet, relaxing, beautiful and just a little bit luxurious… UNICO 20°87° needs to be on your radar. 🌴

This adults-only Riviera Maya resort was one of my standouts because it feels made for couples who genuinely want to slow down and enjoy their time together.

The property is gorgeous, the atmosphere is relaxed, and I loved all the little details—like the signature UNICO straw hats waiting in your room that you can personalize during your stay.

And the pampering isn’t just about the spa. There’s a full salon AND a barbershop, making it easy for both of you to turn a honeymoon into a proper “do absolutely nothing except relax” kind of trip. 🤍

If your ideal honeymoon is less go-go-go and more pool, spa, great food and quality time together… this could be your place.

Hard Rock Riviera Maya was easily one of my favorite family-friendly resorts from this trip. 🌴

The biggest takeaway? Your family is NOT going to be bored here.

Vibe City was such a standout—the kind of space kids could spend hours in—and there’s so much happening throughout the resort for families. But what surprised me was that you still get those beautiful Riviera Maya beach views and plenty of places to slow down and actually feel like you’re on vacation. 🌊

Fun for the kids, plenty for the adults, and enough going on that everyone can find their thing.

This one definitely moved up my list for families traveling to Mexico.

A look inside Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club 🌿

This property has such a distinct feel—from the earthy, jungle-inspired design to the beautiful room details and a spa that might be one of the most aesthetically pleasing spaces on property.

And then there’s the Beach Club. 🌊 While the resort itself isn’t directly on the beach, guests have access to a separate beachfront club so you can still get that Tulum beach day experience.

It’s modern, lush and definitely a little different from your traditional all-inclusive resort.
