Almost to Hunter Peak at Guadalupe Mountains National Park, but the views across Pine Springs Canyon stopped me in my tracks. Across the canyon you can see the Guadalupe Peak Trail, the Tejas Trail down below, and nothing but blue skies above.

Winter hike of Nambe Lake in the Santa Fe National Forest. The streams were freezing over, the trail was covered in snow/ice as we climbed, but the view of Nambe Lake with snow covered Lake Peak behind is a majestic view worth all the effort.

Stepping onto the Lighthouse Trail and you start to feel the immense vastness of Palo Duro Canyon - The Grand Canyon of Texas.

Arriving at Nambe Lake in the Santa Fe National Forest, New Mexico. The suffer up the Nambe Lake Trail was worth it as the lake opened up in front us.

Hiking through the tunnels on the Owl Canyon Loop with no idea what was waiting on the other side, then the trail opens straight into a slot canyon. Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Nevada.
