🔥 🚒 Did you know Disneyland has its own internal fire department and public safety team?

It was established on July 17, 1955 with Station 1 on Main Street, followed years later by Station 2 in 2001 in Disney California Adventure!

Their role is primarily for training cast members, fire prevention, handling minor incidents like trash can fires, medical calls, ride evacuations and fire safety for things like fireworks.

This iconic fire station on Main Street, U.S.A. features historical apparatus and once connected, via a fire pole, to Walt Disney's private apartment on the second floor! How cool is that?!

For those that missed it, I’ve recently returned from being on the west coast for a week for Marvelous Mouse Travels’ annual conference!
This year it was held at Disneyland - which truly is the Happiest Place on Earth!!🤗 I had an absolute blast and am excited to share a recap of all that took place in the 9 days I was in Anaheim! To start our trip we stayed at Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel in a Premium View - Club Level room and it was AWESOME!! More to come about this room and hotel!

👋🏻 Wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to those that may be new to the page!

My name is Amanda and I live in NC along with my hubby of 28 years (in November) and our 2 rescue dogs that became ours when we became empty nesters and our kids gave us legal guardianship of them when they moved out! 🤣

We have 3 incredible children - 2 daughters and 1 son - and now that they’re all either married or engaged I have the 6 kiddos like I always hoped for.🤗

And of course all 8 of us agree - the most precious, perfect, adorable family member of all is our sweet little granddaughter!🥰

There is nothing I love more than having all of us in one place spending time together! It’s one of the reasons I love my job so much - because it is truly an honor to help plan trips for families where they can get together and just enjoy each other!!❤️

Thank you to everyone that has entrusted me with their vacation and to all who plan to in the future… and to those that like, comment and share my posts - you truly make a difference and it means the world to me to have your support. 🥹
