One mistake I see families make at Toy Story Land? 🌞

Spending the middle of the day there.

There isn’t a ton of shade, and standing around in the Florida heat while you wait for rides is… not exactly the Andy’s backyard experience we’re going for. 😂

If you can, visit first thing in the morning OR save Toy Story Land for the evening.

Personally? I vote evening. ✨

Once the lights come on, Toy Story Land is SO much fun to explore at night. Everything feels extra colorful and playful and you can enjoy it without melting in the Florida heat. 🙌

The Disney Dining Plan gets talked about A LOT… but these details don’t get nearly enough attention. 👀

🍽️ Your credits aren’t tied to a specific day or meal. You have a bank of credits to use throughout your trip, which means you can be strategic about when and where you use them.

🍿 Snack credits can go a LONG way. If you know what to look for, you can get some surprisingly valuable snacks and treats instead of using credits on just anything.

🍹 Adult dining plans include an alcoholic drink with eligible meals. If you’re planning to enjoy a cocktail, beer, or wine with your meal anyway, this can be a great way to get more value from your plan.

✨ Where you use your credits matters. The same table-service credit that gets you a less expensive meal at one restaurant could potentially be used for a character meal that costs significantly more. Having a plan before your trip can help you get much more out of your credits.

The Dining Plan isn’t automatically the best choice for every family—but if you’re getting it, you want to make sure you’re actually maximizing it.

Things I’d tell you about a Disney cruise if I wasn’t worried about being too honest…

You DON’T have to:

🚢 Make a strategic plan like you do at Disney World.
A Disney cruise is much more go-with-the-flow. You can have a fantastic vacation without mapping out every minute of every day.

🚢 Participate in everything.
There are SO many optional extras onboard like adult-only dining, alcohol tastings, fish extenders, Pixie Dusting, specialty experiences and more. You absolutely do not need to do all of it to have an amazing cruise, especially if it’s your first one.

🚢 Have a MagicBand.
You can use one if you like them, but they are NOT necessary on Disney Cruise Line. Your Key to the World card handles what you need, so don’t feel like you have to buy a MagicBand just for your cruise.

🚢 Have kids to enjoy it.
Disney cruises aren’t just for kids! Parents, grandparents, couples, and adults traveling without kids can have an incredible time onboard. There’s plenty for everyone.

And honestly? That’s one of my favorite things about a Disney cruise.

You can plan a little, relax a lot, and still have an absolutely magical vacation.

Booked the Disney vacation for the kids… but apparently I was the one getting the Marvelous vacation. 😂⚡️

Just casually walking through Avengers Campus when THOR decides to make an entrance. Like… sir. We were not prepared. 😮‍💨😂
