Another important milestone has been reached in the effort to restore passenger rail service to the Schuylkill River corridor.

The Schuylkill River Passenger Rail Authority has received a Memorandum of Understanding from Amtrak that formalizes key next steps and strengthens the partnership behind the proposed Reading-Phoenixville-Pottstown-Philadelphia service.
