Hi ... this is Jessica, the office manager for the company. I had just been on reading some reviews from 2014 - 2016 and one from 2017. I would like to explain these and if you have Any questions at all please call me and we can talk further about them.
I came to this company in August of 2016. I researched the earlier complaints and found that the company went through a very hard time and also had a tough time weading through hired employees. When being hired we go by their professionalism during the interview and their previous work history, unfortunately these things do not always hold true and we must then adjust accordingly. We do apologize deeply to any of our customers that had been a part of this transition
That being said, since the end of summer 2016 we have worked very hard hard to build wonderful, respectful, teams of crews. We are constantly thanked for our service and continue to work hard to please all of our customers. We have 100's of repeat customers and our biggest form of advertisement is word of mouth. People are being sent to us from all over because we care for your items and we care overall.
I would like to address the 1 bad review on yelp in 2017:
Previously we had worked with the customer's parents to have the items moved and put into our storage. This required 9-10hrs of moving and 2 large trucks and a small as well as 8 men. When the customer was ready for move out I explained what was used to bring her items in and that it is the same to go back out. She insisted only 1 truck was needed and refused to accept that the previous move took more trucks and more manpower. I also explained that we would not be arriving to her in the am, as her items would start getting loaded at 8:15 am then we would call when we were ready to head out. (In the yelp post, she stated that we were 6 hours late getting to her, we were not late..we arrived after her 2 full trucks and 1 small were loaded) I called her to explain that she did in fact need more manpower as well as the called for trucks. She was not very nice and said it's my job to correct this. (Which I had tried to do in the first place) all of our men but the 3 she requested were placed out on jobs for the day, so myself and some other help I could find to start her load. (In the complaint she wrote, "that I had the audacity to say to her that I was trying to help.on a "bum" foot, in fact is was an ankle that was torn in every spot and I could not walk very well in the boot, I had only mentioned this to her to let her know we were doing all that we could back here to catch up, again not our fault because of what she had demanded from us with 1 truck three men) also, anyone who knows me as a person or my 20+ years in customer service, knows my work ethic. I was in no way rude to her, she was in fact extremely rude and said some things that I turn stated "I am going to hang up now because I do not deserve to be spoken to this way", and I hung up and spoke to my boss. I take great pride in my work ethic, as well as my teamwork and customer service! I will not allow someone to tear me down when I did all I could to try to prevent this day from happening as it did. We ended up pulling through by grabbing every crewmember that came back and 3 trucks and she was delivered and set up. We as a company were not at fault.
Every move we do we do it with pride and caution. We care about our customers!! Our crews are very good and work fantastic as a team, we are very proud of all of them for being the faces of Lausch Moving and storage.
