Let’s talk about interiors and questions I get often, “is it better to buy new interior or have my interior reupholstered?”
The answer to that question is dependent on a few different factors so let’s talk about it! Buying new interior is definitely the cheaper option (and nothing wrong with that because I like to save money where I can too!) however when you buy aftermarket seats, they will almost always be less quality. So for instance, you can spend $2500 on an aftermarket interior but it would only last you around 3-5 years. Getting your seats reupholstered is more expensive, yes, but the quality far surpasses that of aftermarket seats!
Now, not all boats and boat seats are going to be the same price across the board.. the price is influenced by several factors like the size and complexity of the seat and the amount of material needed, and whether the seat needs necessary repairs. (New wood, hinges, foam, etc.)
