Last week, we had the opportunity to help a family in Orangevale after the loss of their father.
His daughter lives about 3,000 miles away, and when the family came to the home, they realized the cleanout was much more extensive than they had expected.
They started the process themselves and filled two 40-yard dumpsters and three 15-yard dump trailers before deciding they needed help.
That’s when they called us.
We came in and completed the remaining cleanout in 3 days, removing 13,724 pounds of material and recycling 3,964 pounds.
In a situation like this, the job is about much more than simply removing everything from the property. Families are already dealing with enough, so we try to make the process as easy and respectful as possible.
Throughout the cleanout, we kept the family updated, worked carefully through the home, and set aside photographs, important documents, sentimental items, valuables, and anything else we thought the family may want to keep.
By the time we finished, the family could finally move forward without having the entire cleanout hanging over them.
They later left us a 5-star review and said we made what could have been a very stressful process “incredibly easy.”
We really appreciate them trusting us with something this personal.
