We are unloading another truckload of ties for our track extension project today

We have been busy with the railroad lately. We completed the three Track in the yard. Roadbed preparation work is underway west of milepost 290 with the installation of silt fencing along 2200 feet of the roadbed.
Relay ties have started to arrive at McKoons Crossing just west of milepost 289 They were harvested from CSX at mile post 266 near Oneida, New York.

Train ride this Friday at 7 PM and at 4 PM come visit the railway and see what’s going on.

Railroad fun this weekend!

Erin and Theodor will be on the prowl with the mink Creek local on Friday night at 7 PM and Saturday afternoon at 4 PM.

We have been busy with our extension project so you can check that out in our South Columbia yard.

Tickets are $20 for big nature lovers and $15 for a little nature lovers.
If you ever ever wanted to see our railway and experience, the quirky fun in the lounge car or in the tavern. Perhaps this is the perfect weekend to do so.
