A few quick notes to help you know what to expect:
-I post David’s planned trip dates on our page (and sometimes Instagram). His final route and dates depend on how many customers are in each area, so they can shift by a few days.
-If you have any questions, please message Kristie on our business page. If you already know you want on David’s list, text him your name, barn address, and what you need done (435-881-2364). He’ll add you but probably won’t reply until he's scheduling his trip. He’s on the road for three weeks, home for two, then takes a week to plan. He stays pretty busy during that time, so contacting Kristie is the best way to get quick answers.
-David will text or call you the week before his trip with a date and time. Please reply as soon as you can to confirm! We have several customers miss his texts every month. Please add David's number to your phone if you think that will help you see his texts. If he doesn’t hear back, he’ll remove you from the schedule and try to fit you in if you reply later. If he can’t, I'll add you to his next trip.
-If you reach out the week before his trip and he’s already scheduled, he may still have a spot. Otherwise, I can put you on the list for the following trip — so contacting us early is best.
-If you’re on the list and haven’t heard from us two days before he leaves, please text David or message me. Sometimes texts get missed, and with contacting 80–100 customers in one week, an occasional mix-up can happen on our end too.

David Gilpin is an independent English saddler with 10 years of training in England, and 29 years experience in the US. He does custom fittings on English and Western saddles. He does fittings, reflocking, adjustments, and minor repairs on every brand of English saddle, even those only serviced by their own reps. Most of his work is done on site, so he'll come to you. Please pm us or text/call 435-881-2364 if you need your saddles fitted or checked.

He's an independent English saddler. He began his trade in England with a 10-year apprenticeship under Nathanial Underwood, Master Saddler from Devon. He's been working in the U.S. for 29 years. He does custom saddle fittings on English and Western saddles. He does reflocking, adjustments and repairs on every kind of English saddle. Most of his work is done on site. A customer shared this with David at his recent visit. She said her horse, Liberty Song, went "from bucking to blue ribbons" after David last adjusted her saddles. They went on to win the USEA Starter Amateur Champions. Congratulations Patti!

From Christel Gilbert Keller who David saw today in Arizona...

David was wonderful and a huge help for my horse. I had three saddles and wasn’t sure if any would work for her. He let me know two would work for her with some adjustments he made. The third wasn’t going to be a fit for her at all and was the one I had been using. Horse is much happier and gave David kisses and a thank you!
