Fall is here, and we’re celebrating at Main St. Station! 🎃🍂

Join us for our first-ever Trunk or Treat: A Fall Festival for the Whole Family!

Presented by the RVA Department of Transportation RVA DOT , this FREE community event brings together City departments, local nonprofit organizations, and transit partners for an evening filled with candy, games, music, food, family fun, and more!

But there’s more to this fall fest than just treats! 🚦

In alignment with the Department of Transportation’s Vision Zero goals, we’re using the season when more people are out walking and enjoying the city as an opportunity to make street and pedestrian safety fun and engaging for the whole family. Kids and adults can explore our traffic garden, participate in pedestrian safety activities, and learn a few tips for getting around Richmond safely. 🚶🏾‍♀️🚲🚌

So grab the family, throw on your favorite festive fall fits, bring a bag for all those goodies, and come spend the evening with us!

It’s Furry Friend Friday at Main St. Station and today’s special visitor is Maya! 🐾🤎

This beautiful 5-year-old Siberian Husky stopped by the Station today. With her gorgeous chocolate-brown coat, matching brown eyes, and plenty of energy to spare, Maya is an outgoing girl who knows what she wants. She’s playful and has that unmistakable Husky spirit- curious, adventurous, and just a little bit mischievous.

Maya is looking for a home without other dogs and with kids 10+. Most importantly, Maya is ready for a fresh start — and a family who will keep her safe, give her plenty of love, and embrace all the personality that comes with being a Husky.

Our monthly Furry Friend Friday is made possible through our partnership with Richmond Animal Care & Control Richmond Animal Care & Control , giving us the chance to introduce some of Richmond’s wonderful adoptable animals to the Main St. Station community.

Richmond, get ready to get LOOSE! It’s the finale of the Fall 2026 Music at Main concert series featuring the legendary Junkyard Band!

This Thursday, September 24th, Junkyard Band takes the stage bringing the one-of-a-kind go-go sound to our Richmond stage!

The concert starts at 5:30pm on the Main Street Station patio- 1500 E Main Street! Hosted by Kai Valdez Kai'la DelMi'a with DJ Danja Mowf Danja Mowf on the ones and twos! You don’t want to miss our final show this season!

Richmond, the beat goes on! 🎶 Week 3 of the Music at Main concert series is here, and you don’t want to miss it.

This Thursday, Sept. 17th, the one and only Legacy Band, Richmond’s own powerhouse known across the DMV for their solid musicianship and stirring vocals, takes the stage to light up the Main St Station North Plaza.

DJ Marc J will be on the 1s and 2s to set the mood.

Our Friday at Main St. Station got a whole lot brighter thanks to our Furry Friend, Maybelle! 💕☀️🐶

This sweet 6-year-old Border Collie came by the Station and completely won us over with her infectious smile and loving energy. From the moment she arrived, Maybelle wanted to be where we were — in every room, right by our sides, and soaking up every bit of attention she could get.

She knows how to shake hands, loves a good belly rub, and could happily sit for minutes at a time just enjoying all the affection. Honestly, she was the perfect Furry Friend. ❤️

Meet Jax our Furry Friend today at Main St. Station. 🐾🤎

Some dogs deserve a second chance more than most, and Jax is one of them. He formed an instant bond with everyone he met as he explored the station today.

At 10 years young, this handsome pittie has experienced more heartbreak than any dog should. After being requested for surrender, he was later found abandoned. But somehow, Jax’s gentle spirit is still intact.

He’s the definition of a gentleman—calm, well-mannered, and happiest when he’s simply by your side. Whether it’s a leisurely walk, a sunny afternoon on the porch, or a cozy evening binge-watching your favorite shows, Jax is ready to be your loyal companion. His only request? A home where he can be your one and only pet.

Sometimes the best companions come with a little gray around the muzzle and a lifetime of love still to give. ❤️
