THE VIRGINIA STATE POLICE HAS ISSUED A CODI ALERT ON BEHALF OF THE ARLINGTON COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT ON JUNE 8, 2026 AT 1158 HOURS.

THE ARLINGTON COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT IS LOOKING FOR CHRISTOPHER KIRK THAW, 16 YEARS OLD, BLACK/MALE, BROWN HAIR, BROWN EYES, 5' 6", 120 POUNDS. LAST SEEN WEARING LIGHT GRAY SWEATPANTS WITH WHITE TRIM AND A BABY BLUE SHORT SLEEVE POLO SHIRT.

HE WAS LAST SEEN AT ON JUNE 8, 2026 AT 0645 HOURS ON FOOT, LEAVING HIS RESIDENCE ON 28TH STREET IN ARLINGTON TO GO TO SCHOOL.

THIS DISAPPEARANCE POSES A CREDIBLE THREAT TO HIS/HER HEALTH AND SAFETY AS DETERMINED BY THE INVESTIGATING AGENCY.
