📣 The 53rd Annual Imogene Pass Run is coming up on Saturday, Sept. 12.
As in previous years, there will be temporary road closures in place during the run for CR-361 (Camp Bird Road) and CR-26B (Imogene Pass Road) on both Ouray and San Miguel County sides.
🚧 Main Street in Ouray from 4th Ave to the intersection of Hwy 550 and CR-361 will be closed for roughly 15 minutes at 7:30AM for the runners to make their way out of town.
🚧 CR-361 (Lower Camp Bird Road) will be CLOSED from 7:30AM-9AM to allow the roughly 1200 runners a safe route to run on. After 9AM access to lower Camp Bird Road and Yankee Boy Basin will be open.
🚧 CR-26B (Imogene Pass Road) will be CLOSED on the Ouray County side until 11AM and the San Miguel County side until roughly 3PM.
🚓 Deputies and other volunteers will be stationed throughout the route.

⚠ Reminder: Dallas Trailhead Area closed to public during construction work for Corbett Creek Bridge project.

In cooperation with Ouray County, the GMUG Ouray Ranger District has temporarily closed National Forest System lands in the immediate vicinity of Dallas Trailhead on County Road 17 beginning Aug. 24 at 9 a.m. to ensure public safety during a Ouray County construction project. We appreciate your patience.

Upcoming Road work: Crews will be beginning chip seal on CR-11 (Government Springs Rd) on Monday, August 24th and will last approximately 1 week. The work zone will be from the Ouray County Line to Mariposa Drive. Expect delays. Please call the Road and Bridge office @970-626-5391 if you have any questions or concerns.

🚧 CR-12 (Cow Creek/FSR 857) is closed just beyond the intersection with CR-10A;
🚧 CR-14 (Dexter Creek/FSR 871) is closed just beyond the intersection with Gold Mountain Trail (Forest Boundary); and,
🚧 CR-14A (Cutler Creek/FSR 872) is closed at the intersection with CR-14B (Forest Boundary).
