Cal Freight has steadily grown from a strictly brokerage firm to an asset based carrier/broker with up to 600,000 square feet of food grade warehousing available to our customer base. With offices and warehouse facilities nestled throughout the country, we have the capability to offer any logistical solution to our clientele. Our main services include:
Domestic and international freight movements

Port/rail drayage
Nor Cal warehouse facilities and out of state consignment warehousing with boxcar capabilities
Trans load capabilities for standard palletized product, floor, and slip sheet loaded material
Asset based food grade tanker division

Our goal is to provide superior service, coupled with competitive rates in all involved industries year round.

Carlos Manuel Lopez stepped up to the plate for safety!

While at the Ripon Shop, Carlos caught the smell of propane and didn’t let it slide. He investigated and found a propane tank leaking due to an adapter that had been left connected.

Carlos trusted his instincts, called the play, and helped stop a potential hazard before it could turn into a serious incident.

That’s what we call keeping your eye on the ball.

Shoutout to AJ Ridley for a real-world Nice Catch at Myrtle Point, OR.

AJ noticed a single-car accident involving a family with three young kids still inside the vehicle. Instead of driving past, he pulled over to check on them, made sure everyone was okay, and stayed engaged until help was on the way.

While adults were focused on traffic and next steps, AJ took the extra moment to connect with the kids and help calm the situation. The family specifically asked that AJ be thanked for his kindness, respect, and awareness during a stressful moment.
