Welcome to Oakland University's very own transportation system, the Bear Bus. Our goal is to help you, and all other students, reach desired goals. How? We’re going to help you get there. For many years now, Bear Bus has been providing the Oakland University Community with a positive and safe transportation experience. We can and will transport you on campus and off campus through the predetermined routes running every single day. Don’t feel like walking to class? No problem, call the bus running the Green Route. Is that painting that you’re carrying too heavy? We’ll transport both you and your projects almost anywhere that you need on campus. Don’t want to walk in the rain and snow? We don’t blame you. Stay dry by taking the Bear Bus on your next adventure. You can take comfort in knowing our exceptional staff has been trained, certified, and licensed in the driving of commercial vehicles, the handling of emergency situations, and most importantly, providing an excellent customer service experience to the whole OU community. Yes, that is right. Everyone is welcome on the Bear Bus. All four of the shuttles are wheelchair accessible and offer more than 20 open seats to the future OU doctors, musicians, engineers, and more. So, no matter who you are, and no matter what your goals are, board the buses whenever you please. We want to keep your shoes dry, we want to save you the long walk, and, most importantly, we want to know your story. Let us help you get there on this journey called life.
