After debarking in Civitavecchia, and the transfer to Rome, we found ourselves with 4 hours to kill before check-in. We dropped off our luggage, walked to St. Peter’s Basilica and Castel St. Angelo before having lunch at Panico Pizzeria. Opted to go back to the hotel and have limoncello spritzes in the lobby for an hour or so before our room was ready. The books in the library are real, however I don’t read Italian and my Rakuten Kobo is with my luggage 😂
