Flown recently? Then you’ve felt it. Record passenger volumes, tighter ID requirements, and construction at major hubs have changed the math on getting to your gate. Here’s how we protect our clients from all of it:

We build realistic buffers. Tight connections that worked five years ago don’t work now, especially through the busiest international hubs.

We arrange fast-track and VIP services. Many airports offer expedited security, private escorts, and lounge access that most travelers never hear about. We book them routinely.

We watch your flights. Delays and cancellations get handled while you’re still in the air, not after you’ve landed and joined a rebooking line of 200 people.

And a reminder for U.S. travelers: REAL ID is now required for domestic flights, so check that license before your next trip.

The airport is part of the trip. We plan it like one.

“Wait, hotels have Michelin ratings now?” We’ve been asked some version of this a dozen times this year, so let’s decode it.

Michelin Keys: launched in 2024, awarded to hotels rather than restaurants. One Key means a special stay, two means exceptional, and three places a hotel among the world’s very best.

Forbes Travel Guide Stars: the long-standing gold standard for service. Inspectors visit anonymously and grade hundreds of touchpoints. Five Stars is the top honor and genuinely hard to earn.

Here’s our take as advisors: awards are a useful signal, not the whole answer. Plenty of Three Key hotels would be wrong for your specific trip, and some of our favorite properties fly below the award radar entirely.

The ratings tell you a hotel is excellent. We tell you if it’s excellent for you. That’s the difference. Reach out anytime to learn more!

In the age of AI photos and viral fakes, here's a list you can actually trust: UNESCO World Heritage sites. And fun fact, you've probably been planning trips around them without realizing it.

The World Heritage list is humanity's official greatest hits collection, over 1,200 real, vetted, irreplaceable places. Once you start noticing, they're behind half the travel photos you've ever saved: the 9,000-alleyway medina of Fez in Morocco, Mont-Saint-Michel rising from its tidal bay in France, the rolling hills of Tuscany's Val d'Orcia, Gaudí's Sagrada Família in Barcelona, and the lantern-lit old town of Hoi An in Vietnam.

Here's the advisor angle: places this famous need strategy. The right season, private after-hours access, the guide who knows the back entrance. Message us to plan your own greatest hits tour.

A five-star hotel named The Thief? Yes, and we love telling clients the story behind it.

The hotel stands on Tjuvholmen, “Thief Island,” once the haunt of Oslo’s smugglers and outlaws. Today it’s the city’s most stylish address, part gallery and part hotel, with original works by Andy Warhol and other major artists throughout and the Astrup Fearnley Museum of contemporary art literally next door.

The waterfront location is the other draw. Harbor-view rooms with balconies, a rooftop for summer evenings, and the Oslofjord right outside, where locals take to floating saunas year-round. Cold plunge optional, memorable either way.

Oslo makes a brilliant city stop before Norway’s fjords or a northern lights itinerary. We’ll connect the pieces. Get in touch.

A softer corner of Patagonia awaits in Chile's Lake District, where volcano views, glacial lakes, and peaceful fjords replace the rush to the summit. Discover why slow adventure shines here, then reach out to start planning your escape. 🌋🏞️

Puerto Varas, Lake Llanquihue, Reloncaví fjord, and Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park reward travelers willing to trade summit fever for a slower pace.

Two continents, one city. Istanbul is split between Europe and Asia by the Bosphorus Strait, and hopping between them is just the morning ferry. No other major city on the planet can say that.

And that's just the geography. The Hagia Sophia has stood for 1,500 years, longer than most countries have existed. The Grand Bazaar runs 4,000 shops deep, with unlimited apple tea while you haggle. And at sunset, ferries glide across the Bosphorus while the call to prayer rolls over the water.

Advisor tip: Istanbul is one of the world's great flight hubs, so it works brilliantly as a standalone trip or a few nights tacked onto almost anywhere east.

Planning Portugal and only thinking about Lisbon? Allow us to make the case for the north.

Porto is one of Europe’s great second cities, and Infante Sagres is its grande dame.

Opened in 1951 as the city’s first luxury hotel, it has hosted royalty, heads of state, and film stars ever since. The stained-glass staircase alone is worth walking up and down twice.

The location is the other reason we book it: you’re in the heart of downtown, an easy walk to Livraria Lello, the Ribeira riverfront, and the port wine lodges across the river in Gaia.

Insider tip: pair Porto with the Douro Valley, about 90 minutes away, for wine country after the city. Reach out to start planning.

Wrote off Punta Cana as all mega-resorts and swim-up bars? We did too, once. Then there’s this place.

Eden Roc Cap Cana, a Relais & Châteaux property inside the gated Cap Cana community, is built around freestanding suites, most with their own private pool, spread through tropical gardens a short ride from a swimmable, white-sand beach club.

Golfers, take note: Punta Espada, the Jack Nicklaus signature course with eight holes along the Caribbean, is minutes away and consistently ranked the best course in the region.

The practical part matters too. Punta Cana’s airport has nonstop flights from most major U.S. cities, so you can be at the pool by early afternoon.

Big Caribbean ease, boutique Caribbean feel. Message us to start planning.

“Is a Nile cruise actually worth it?” We get this question constantly. Our answer: on the right boat, it might be the best hotel in Egypt. And it moves.

Historia Boutique Nile River Cruise sails between Luxor and Aswan, designed around the glamour of 1920s river travel with a fully contemporary interior. Around 40 cabins, floor-to-ceiling windows facing the water, a rooftop pool deck, and a spa on board.

The real luxury is the format. You unpack once, and the temples come to you. Karnak and the Valley of the Kings, then Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Philae, each visited with expert Egyptologist guides while the boat handles every mile in between.

Advisor tip: itineraries run three, four, or seven nights, and the direction you sail changes the pacing. We’ll help you pick the right one. Let’s start planning.
