🚌 Continuous Learning. Stronger Teams. SAFER STUDENTS! 💛

Our Rockwall ISD Transportation team is always looking for ways to learn, grow, and better serve our students!

👏 Please help us recognize Mr. Doug, our Fleet Manager; Ms. Vernice, our Senior Route Coordinator; and Mrs. Michelle, our Closing Dispatcher, who participated in the three-day Transportation Operations Academy in Mansfield, TX!

📚 The academy covered a wide range of topics, including Shop Talk, safety and securement, daily operations, routing, dispatch, budgeting, technology, safety and compliance, student management, leadership, and training techniques.

We’re also proud of our Transportation Director, Mrs. Jennifer, who helped launch this academy as an instructor in its very first class, to today teaching the final class of the 2026 school year! What an incredible journey of sharing knowledge, building connections, and growing alongside fellow transportation professionals! 🙌

At Rockwall ISD Transportation, we believe leadership means never stopping learning. We are committed to continuous improvement, teamwork, and creating the safest environment possible for the students we serve.

💛 One Team. One Mission. Keep Rolling!

🚌💙💛 Connecting. Collaborating. Growing Together!

Members of our RISD Transportation Team had the opportunity to visit Highland Park ISD for this month’s North Texas Association for Pupil Transportation (NTAPT) chapter meeting!

We appreciate the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and learn alongside transportation professionals from across North Texas. Every opportunity to share ideas, learn from one another, and strengthen relationships helps us grow as leaders and continue improving the work we do every day for our students.

Our Transportation Director currently serves as NTAPT President-Elect for the 2026–2027 school year and is a member of the Executive Committee. We are proud to be actively involved in an organization that supports professional growth, leadership, and collaboration throughout our student transportation community!

Together, we continue to learn, lead, and make an impact beyond the bus!

ONE Team. ONE Mission. Student Safety First! 🚌💙💛

Day made. 🥹💛🚌

Seeing the publication and seeing our Top Transportation Team 2026 recognized was a moment that meant so much.

It took teamwork. Hard work. Dedication. Consistency. And a whole lot of showing up — day after day — to get where we are today.

We didn’t get here overnight.
We did it together.
We did it one step at a time.
We kept showing up.
We kept learning.
We kept supporting each other.
We kept moving forward.

Driven by Dedication. 💯 That is our team.

Every person. Every role. Every effort.

I’m so proud of what we continue to build together. This recognition belongs to the entire transportation village. 💛🚌

Top Transportation Team 2026.
We did it together.
One Team. One Mission. Safe Rides.
