What you see here is the whole operation: the dispatch floor, staffed around the clock including weekends, by dispatchers with five to ten years on the desk.
Our own maintenance shop, working on our own equipment. The account managers and the office behind them.
We think a carrier is not really its trucks. It’s whoever picks up the phone when a load goes sideways at two in the morning- which is why this film is about them and not about the equipment.
That’s also why there’s no forced dispatch here. On day one a driver tells their dispatcher the one region they’d rather not run, and we keep them out of it as much as we can. It’s a promise we can actually keep, so we make it.
