Wayne Transports, Inc.

Wayne Transports, Inc. Specialized in hauling bulk commodities such as Asphalt, Petroleum products, Chemicals and Dry Bulk. Established in 1950. In 1950, Wayne A.

Siemers purchased a tractor and tank trailer to transport petroleum products for customers in his hometown of Milaca, MN. Growth has been continuous since that point, with expansion into dry-bulk food transportation, dry-bulk non food grade, LP gas, chemicals and asphalt.โ€‹The company was always financially stable and grew throughout the Fifties and Sixties. In the Seventies, Wayne's three sons and

son-in-law became active in our truck transportation company. In 1979, under the direction of Wayne Siemers, our trucking company headquarters was moved to Inver Grove Heights, MN. In 2015, we celebrated our 65th anniversary as one of the best trucking companies at our new home near Rosemount, MN.

๐Ÿˆ 6.3 million yards. 57,000+ football fields. One seriously impressive stat.

While youโ€™re building your fantasy roster, our drivers are building some impressive yardage of their own.

In a year, Wayne Transports hauled enough chip seal on a single contract to cover more than 6.3 million yards of pavement, or over 57,000 football fields. Keeping roads maintained and America moving! ๐Ÿš›

So, whether itโ€™s yards on the field or miles on the road, every yard counts.

Did you know Wayne helps power everything from space missions to electric vehicles? ๐Ÿš€โšก

Some of our dry bulk loads contain microscopic hollow glass spheres that may look like a simple white powder, but they play a role in some remarkable applications. At the Kennedy Space Center, these glass microspheres have been used to help insulate liquid hydrogen storage tanks, supporting the extreme temperatures required for rocket fuel while reducing evaporation losses before launch.

Their uses don't stop there. These tiny spheres can be found in electric vehicle battery components, lightweight composites, caulking, body fillers, specialty coatings, marine products, and many other applications where reducing weight without sacrificing performance is critical.

From supporting space exploration to improving products used every day in homes, garages, and industries across America, Wayne Dry Bulk is proud to deliver the materials that help drive innovation forward. ๐Ÿš›โšก๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿค” You probably didn't know your tanker truck could impact nearly every part of daily life. Interested in a career that makes a difference? We'd like to talk

The clean water you drink. The swimming pool your kids enjoy. The food grown on American farms. The roads you drive every day.

Many of these depend on chemical products that have to be transported safely by highly trained professional drivers.

At Wayne Transports, our Chemical Division drivers do more than deliver freight. They help support industries that keep our economy and communities running.

๐Ÿบ Enjoy a good craft beer?

MN Big Rigs recently snapped a photo of a Wayne Transports Dry Bulk truck on the move. While most people see a truck, we see a critical link in the supply chain that helps breweries across the country create the beers people enjoy every day.

Our Dry Bulk division has hauled Minnesota malted barley to breweries including:
๐Ÿ“ Black Raven Brewing (WA)
๐Ÿ“ Ballast Point Brewing (CA)
๐Ÿ“ Karbach Brewing (TX)
๐Ÿ“ Coppertail Brewing (FL)
๐Ÿ“ Allagash Brewing (ME)

From Minnesota to both coasts and hundreds of locations in between, we're proud to help keep America brewing!

Throwback Tuesday!

Sometimes a picture comes with a story that makes it even better.

We recently received this photo and a message from the former owner of this gas station in Aitkin, Minnesota, who shared this memory:

โ€œEvery gallon of gas โ€” regular and ethyl โ€” pumped through this station was delivered by Wayne Transports, often by Wayne himself. If I remember correctly, it was International tractors with gas engines, painted Wayne red, that had a PTO to run a pump to unload the fuel into the above-ground tank. The tractor and trailer were always spotless.โ€

Wayne Siemers founded Wayne Transports in 1950, and stories like this are a great reminder of where it all started โ€” one customer, one delivery, and one spotless truck at a time.

Thanks for sharing this great piece of Wayne history with us!
