As of June 17th - LANCO is taking Conner Smith July 5th showtime.

The ticket price goes up $10 on June 1st, so if you’re going to the biggest celebration in Montana you need to purchase your adult tickets now. Your ticket will get you a wristband at the entrance gate, and that wristband will get you into both evening shows on July 4th and 5th at the Roundup Outdoor Stage.

Some of the greatest stage performers we ever had are booked for the 2025 edition of RIDE. Wyoming singer-songwriter Chancey Williams has the distinction of being one of only two cowboys to have competed in the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, and performed on the main stage. The other cowboy was the great Chris LeDoux. Williams is from Moorcroft, Wyoming. He was a successful saddle bronc rider on the circuit, and then his career path changed to music. Before Chancey went solo, he was a member of the Younger Brothers Band. They had a good regional run. In the fall of 2013, Williams signed with HomeSlice Artist Management. He has released 5 studio albums. His latest single is called “Take One ForThe Team”. Just a couple of weeks ago he made his fifth appearance on the Grand Ole Opry stage. Chancey Williams will open the show as part of a doubleheader headliner on Friday, July 4th at the Roundup City Stage at 7pm.

Neal McCoy is one of country music’s greatest showmen. He hit the charts in the early 90’s. He had two #1 singles back to back with “No Doubt About It” and “Wink”. The album that contained those hits went platinum. He later had two more platinum albums and a gold album, as well as six more top 10 hits He will follow Chancey Williams on July 4th. There’s not a better performer touring today, and he’s a tremendous ambassador for America. The best fireworks show in Montana by the Roundup Skylighters, Perella’s Fireworks, and Montana Poor Boy Pyrotechnics follows the Neal McCoy show.

The morning of the 4th starts off with the annual Bird Walk at 7am at the Riverwalk. At 9am the Mimosa Mile will be at the Roundup City Stage. It gets bigger every year. There’s a $10 fee with RIDE ticket. Otherwise, it’s $20. All participants get a souvenir to take home.

Saturday, July 5th local singer-songwriter Mallory Morgan will open the evening show. She’s a recent graduate of Roundup High School. She has performed at various venues and is a favorite around the area. Jason Larson has been taking the stage at RIDE for over 10 years. He is always a crowd favorite, and he knows how to deliver a great performance. He’ll follow Mallory Morgan.

The headliner on the Saturday evening show is one of the hottest new country acts out of Nashville. Conner Smith released a song in late 2021 called “I Hate Alabama”, which went viral on Tik Tok. The success of that song got him a deal with Big Machine Records. An album followed called Didn’t Go Too Far in 2022. The project’s lead single “Learn From It” made the top 40 on Billboard Country Airplay. The second single ”Take It Slow” was released in early 2023, and was certified Gold by the RIAA. The label released “Creek Will Rise” in 2023, and became his first top 20 hit. It served as the lead single to his studio album, Smoky Mountains, which was released on January 26, 2024. On March 10, 2024 “Creek Will Rise” became a #1 hit on the UK Country Airplay chart. Conner Smith will rock the joint. He is a dynamite performer who loves to get the crowd going. His label recently dropped his new single called “Country In The Clouds”, and it’s climbing the charts.

You can get tickets to the shows at 1st Security Bank and IGA in Roundup. Also, you can purchase tickets on the RIDE website. Just go to roundupride.com. This year you get tickets that will be turned in at the gate for wristbands, and they’ll get you into both shows and most other events. The price is $40 for adults and $5 for children 6-12. The price will increase on June 1st 2025 so get them early and save. You can also get the latest information on RIDE’s page.

You can purchase early bird all day passes at the Trade Show, or at Picchioni’s IGA, First Security Bank, Valley Credit Union, or The Roundup Liquor Store #44.

Signal Peak Energy is once again our Presenting sponsor. Our two other major sponsors are Briggs Distributing and Stifel Investments.

It’s going to be the best shows yet. You don’t want to miss two great nights of music at RIDE 2025, and all the other events, including a Corn hole tournament, and you might see a dinosaur or two around. There will be Midway West Carnival from July 4-6th in the park. Tickets are sold separately . You can get all day ride passes for $20 if purchased before the Carnival gets to town. Get tickets for Carnival at IGA, 1st Security Bank, Van D***s Grocery, Liquor Store #44, or Valley Credit Union.

If you’re not in the crowd at RIDE, you’re missing out on a lot of fun.

RCP is hosting a Community Coffee on April 28th from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Musselshell County Central Commons on behalf of the City of Roundup. There will be two short presentations in regard to the Roundup Housing Plan followed by the Local Government Study Review. In essence because both presentations are relatively short, we are combining the two subjects into one Community Coffee meeting.

This event is an opportunity for our community members to ask questions and help to provide important input and comments for the planning document and the study review.

HONEY BUN'S HOMETOWN BAKERY goodies will be served with coffee and water. Come join the conversation and provide you input!
