As a single mom, there’s something about taking your kids on vacation that just hits differently. ❤️

It’s not about how far you go, how much you spend, or how extravagant the trip is. It’s about looking at your kids having the time of their lives and thinking…I made this happen. 🥹

Because when you’re the one juggling the schedules, the finances, the responsibilities, and all the decisions, sometimes you forget just how capable you really are.

And then you take that trip.
You navigate the airport, figure things out along the way, try something new, and create memories that belong to YOUR little family.

And somewhere in all of that, you realize you’re not just building your kids’ confidence to explore the world… you’re building your own, too. 💕

Whether it’s a weekend road trip, a Disney vacation, a cruise, or a week at the beach, don’t underestimate what those experiences can do for all of you.

I’ve been that mom. And I can tell you, some of my proudest moments have come from the memories I’ve created with my kids. So to the single moms wondering if they can pull off that vacation…I’m cheering you on.

Today one of my families is headed to Orlando for a little bit of Disney magic + Universal adventure and I am excited to see what memories are made!

But this trip didn’t start with picking a hotel or buying park tickets. It started with a conversation about their family, what they wanted to experience, what mattered most to them-and what they wanted to include in this vacation experience.

From there, we built their version of an Orlando vacation. And now they finally get to enjoy it. ❤️

I’ll share some of the choices we made along the way-and the reasons behind them because no two families need the exact same Disney + Universal vacation.

Apparently my personality just needs sunshine, turquoise water, and a rum punch. 😂🌴
Because the second I land in the Caribbean, suddenly I love life again.
Work stress? Never heard of her.
Winter? Don’t know her.
Problems? They did not make it through customs.✈️😂

There’s just something about warm breezes, ocean views, and nowhere important to be that brings me right back to myself.

And maybe that’s why I believe so much in taking the trip. Sometimes you don’t need more stuff…you need something on the calendar that makes you excited again. ☀️🌊

I keep hearing more parents of little ones say they’re thinking about skipping Magic Kingdom…and I get it👀

It can feel busy. There’s a lot to see. And when you’re planning Disney with little kids, sometimes doing less sounds like the better plan. But before you take Magic Kingdom off your list, picture Disney through their eyes. ✨

Something as simple as riding it’s a small world-the music, the colors, the boats, their little faces taking it all in-can be every bit as magical to them as the newest attraction. Sometimes it’s Dumbo. A character hug. A Mickey-shaped snack. Watching the parade. Or yes… riding it’s a small world and having that song stuck in your head for the rest of the day. 😂(You’re welcome)

You don’t have to do ALL of Magic Kingdom to make it worth going. You just have to plan the kind of Magic Kingdom day that works for your family. And that’s exactly the kind of thing I help my Disney families figure out. 🤍
