You are looking at the very last United States Marines MV-22 Osprey ever to be built (359th), although the United States military plans to utilize the Osprey for many years to come. Sources say until at least 2055. The CMV22B (Navy variant) however is still in production.🇺🇸

Another one gone too soon. Our good friend, pilot and lifelong patron went to be with the Lord last week. Some people wonder what the white rings or circles are that appear around the spinning blades. This is condensed water v***r. Usually, this is most common when the engines are at a high power setting (taking off or landing or high-performance maneuvers) in humid air.

Here we see a Bell-Boeing MV22 Osprey demonstrating its ability to fold into a more “compact” unit so it can fit into tight, confined spaces aboard Navy aircraft carriers and amphibious assault ships. This also allows the crews to inspect vital components onboard the MV22 more easily. Just another feature that makes the Osprey a technological aviation marvel!
