SMF is getting new digital roadway signs! They'll make it easier to find your way around the airport, but first we have to get through a little construction. Naturally.

Here's what you need to know:
- Where: Airport Boulevard and Terminal B roadways.
- When: Construction will continue through the end of December, weather permitting. Most closures will occur overnight, and we're giving everyone a break during Thanksgiving and Christmas week.
- What to expect: Temporary overnight lane closures and detours. During certain Terminal B closures, we'll redirect pickups and drop-offs to the east side of the arrivals curb.
- Coming in November: Additional detours near the airport's main entrance will temporarily reroute some drivers coming from I-5 via Bayou Road and Elkhorn Boulevard before reconnecting with Airport Boulevard. We'll share more details as we get closer.

Just give yourself a little extra time and follow the detour signs. We promise there's a reason for all this.
