A mattress bag keeps it sealed through all of that. Unlike the TV and wardrobe boxes, this one's single-use, it goes home with you, not back with the crew.

Mattress bags are part of the Protection Kit too, a custom combination sized to your move, up to five pieces total. It's not something every move gets automatically, it's something we build in when you reserve your date on the call. Ask about it when you book.

Clothes that go from closet to trash bag to truck to closet again usually come out wrinkled, mixed up, and half the time on the wrong hangers. A wardrobe box skips all of that, it's a tall case built to carry clothes on the hanger exactly as they hung in your closet, so they come off the truck the same way they went on. Like the TV boxes, these are reusable, so our crew picks them back up once your move is done.

A lot of people don't realize junk disposal is its own service here, not just something we do on the side of a move. Old furniture, appliances, whatever's been sitting in a garage or basement too long, our crew loads it, hauls it away, and it's handled the same day.

No renting a truck, no trip to the landfill yourself, no waiting around for a bulk pickup date. You point at it, we take it from there.

Nobody wants to rent a truck, wrestle a recliner down the stairs, and then find out the landfill closes at 3.

So we published our junk disposal pricing instead of making you call for a mystery number. One small item, something one mover can grab and toss, is $50. A large item, meaning it takes two movers, it's bulky, or it has to come apart first, is $100. There's a $100 minimum on any disposal job.

If you've got more than a couple of pieces, we switch to truck pricing based on how full the truck gets: quarter truck $399, half truck $799, three-quarter truck $1,299, full truck $1,699.

A quick way to sort it yourself: can one person pick it up and toss it without help? Yes is small. No is large. When in doubt, it's large.

A few things need a yes from our office first — pianos, safes, hot tubs, paint, chemicals, tires. Ask when you book.

Most movers won't put an arrival time in writing, because most movers show up whenever they show up.

We just started doing the opposite. Book a local move within 75 miles of our St. Louis office, and you get a written arrival window before move day, not a vague half-day estimate. Morning jobs 1 to 45 miles get 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Morning jobs 46 to 75 miles get 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Afternoon jobs get noon to 5 PM. Miss that window and we waive your travel fee entirely, no questions about traffic, because normal traffic isn't our excuse to use.

The only exceptions are changes on your end or a road closure the crew physically can't get around.

Moving farther than 75 miles? Long-distance jobs get their own timing conversation up front, so you still know when we'll be there.

Your arrival window is guaranteed. If we're outside it, the travel fee is gone

We do not tell customers a final number before we know what the job needs, and we never will.

The estimate is our honest read on the hours a job should take, built from an hourly rate by crew size, plus a flat travel fee, plus whatever add-ons apply. No hidden line item shows up on the invoice that was not already part of that structure from the start.

That is not a marketing claim. It is just the shape of how we price every job, in August and every other month.

That number does not come from a marketing deck. It comes from ten years of walking into homes exactly like this one, carrying a wrapped, awkward, heavy piece through a doorway that was never measured with movers in mind, and getting it to the truck without a scratch.

Ten thousand is not a slogan. It is just what happens when you do the same careful job enough times.
