Originally used on the St. John’s River to chase gator poachers by FWC, these Old Timer boats were known to be extremely stable at fast speeds, and are extremely rare to find in good condition.

The Mercury Marine 300 ProXS with a sportmaster lower has given this thing power to creep into the high 80s, which is no where near its limit. We also included a 9 inch vesselview and a New Gen Mercury Binnicle and rigging.

We took this thing from the ground up, working with Marine Custom Paint Inc. to dial this thing in exactly how the owner wanted it, including a beefed up transom, 3 access hatches in the rear and forward seating with storage in the bow.

From there, we had the ability to add our preferred systems, including the powerhouse of 2 Abyss Battery 12 volt battery’s, a key switch activated battery system, and Victron Energy DC-DC on board battery float charger.

We got the chance to use the new Garmin Marine Spectre RGB battery controller, running all of the Shadowcaster courtesy lights and JL Audio speakers. To top off the extensive systems, we added a SIONYX Nightwave camera for that extra visibility coming back to the dock on those late nights.

We topped it off with custom gator upholstery, matched by Castaway Customs Seadek which includes thick bolsters and even covers the hatches.

This was a long but successful project in which we got to show off what we are capable of as a small repair shop in St. Augustine, and we have more dream builds we will get to showcase in the near future!

It’s been almost a year since our 32 Seacraft/Shop Demo boat was picked up and put under the knife, and today she’s ready to be shown to the world.

She boasts the latest and greatest Garmin Marine products, including but not limited to the new RA800 Fusion Apollo head unit, the Panoptix PS70 Transducer featuring Livescope and 4D past imaging, and a 90” Force Kraken, for which Sea Swivel helped out by providing an Bracket, Mag mount, and Sea Secure lock.

We are also grateful for Gemlux Fishing hooking us up with all 19 rod holders, the beautiful white carbon fiber 22’ collapsible outriggers and their rigging, all hatches and Latches throughout the boat, and all of the plumbing for our custom SeaChest and Sump Box system.

The Shadow Caster Lighting Controller lets us have full control of the extensive lighting throughout the boat, with the help of Victron and LBP power.

Inspired Boat Works also got the motors painted beautifully for us, and Castaway Customs dialed in our Sea Dek helm pad and console pad!

There’s tons more to list, but we just couldn’t wait to give credit where’s it due and show this bad girl off!
