🎣 Fishing Pontoon vs. Regular Pontoon: Which Is Right for You? 🚤

Want a pontoon that's great for fishing but still comfortable for cruising with family and friends? The secret is choosing the right layout!

✅ Fishing 20–30% of the time or enjoy trolling?
A fishing pontoon with rear fishing seats might be your best fit. You can fish comfortably from the back while family and friends lounge up front.

✅ Fishing more than 50% of the time?
Consider a four-corner fishing layout. This gives more anglers their own dedicated fishing space.

✅ Want to enjoy watersports too?
With the right motor and towing setup, some fishing pontoons can still pull tubes for a fun day on the lake!

The best fishing pontoon isn't necessarily the one with the most fishing features. It's the one that fits how YOU enjoy the water.

📍 Visit Westre's Marine in St. Cloud or Willmar, Minnesota, to explore our pontoons.

Your outboard ran great all summer. So why tune up an engine that isn't giving you problems?
Because parts can deteriorate from age, not just use.

For Mercury, Yamaha, and Suzuki outboards, the tune-up benchmark is 3 years or 300 hours, whichever comes first. At Westre’s, we recommend not stretching that beyond 5 years, even if you don't put many hours on your boat.

If you're due or getting close, winter is a smart time to take care of it. Your boat is already off the water, so you're not giving up valuable boating days next summer.

And during our off-season, we're offering 20% off service labor.
You don't have to winterize or store your boat with us to get the discount.

Not sure if you're due? Give our St. Cloud or Willmar service team a call. We'll help you figure out what your outboard actually needs.

Here’s a Westres throwback of Jason and Kelly with the kids! They may all look a little different these days. 😉
