I know I haven't posted in awhile. We haven't had much for winter this year until now. It's been snowing since 5pm yesterday and is expected to continue until Sunday. Oh what fun move in day will be for Savana at the university. Check out the mailboxes in the pics. Mailbox are generally 4ft tall from the ground to the top. All of this snow is just from yesterday. I love it

It's that time of year again. Our little Heron is back. Love seeing this little guy. Up close he is so pretty, a bluish grey color. Sorry for the blurry picture. He's on the opposite side of the "pond" behind the house.

Today marks 1 year 🏡 I can't get over last year at this time we were signing papers and dreading the awful chore of emptying a 26 ft U-Haul 🚛stuffed full. Still haven't got everything arranged as we want, due to repairs needed that were hidden, but we will get it done🛠🪚🪛🔧

It was quite a bit warmer🌞 last year at this time but still just as pretty. Just means my favorite time of the year ❄️☃️ is coming.

We have gained a few friends 🫂🫂and selectively kicked a few to the curb but all in all its been a productive year. I have a part time job doing what I love💙 and Savana is going to start UMFK for her general ed. 📚 I'm hoping she makes a few friends her age.

Thanks to all of you who have been there and put up with us this past year. 🤪

Check out this one. One icicle from the roof to the over 6ft pile of snow in front. How cool is that. Dogs are gonna love that one. It's hard to see with a white background. Hoping to change that this spring with a fresh coat of exterior paint for the house and garage.

Just an idea as to where we are snow wise from Sept 24, 2021 to today March 6, 2022. Check out the snow level compared to the windows. I'd say we got a few inches this winter. Wouldn't want winter here to be any less.

Just waiting for this to melt enough to come crashing down and scare the daylights out of me and the dogs. In a funny way it will be a good laugh to see how they react. Bet the house will sight a huge breath of relief when it does let go.
