🔪 CROSSBAR LOCK vs. LINER LOCK — Which are you taking?

Today we're putting two great EDC knives head-to-head:

⚔️ Kershaw Mini Iridium
• DuraLock crossbar-style lock
• D2 Steel
• Reverse Tanto
• Thumb Stud
• Aluminum Handle

VS.

⚔️ CIVIVI Elementum
• Liner Lock
• D2 Steel
• Drop Point
• Flipper
• G10 Handle

Both are in the $60–$80 price range. Both use D2 steel. But they give you two completely different EDC experiences.

The DuraLock gives you ambidextrous operation, smooth action, and lets you keep your fingers out of the blade path when closing.

The liner lock keeps things simple, proven, and straightforward.

So which one is better?

🔥 BUCK JUST MODERNIZED A CLASSIC.

The Buck 110 and 112 have been icons for generations—but what happens when you give them a Crossbar Lock, one-handed operation, pocket clip, and CPM MagnaCut steel?

You get an old-school Buck with modern EDC functionality.

The new Buck 110 & 112 Crossbar Locks keep that unmistakable classic Buck look, but the gunmetal gray and Macassar ebony combination gives these knives an entirely new feel.

After handling both, I’ve gotta say… I personally prefer the 112. The smaller package just feels better in my hand for everyday carry.

The one thing I’d change? I’d like a little more length on the pocket clip for better hand placement when opening.

Other than that, Buck did a hell of a job modernizing these without losing what makes them a Buck.
