What a thoughtful gift gifted to TMT from a daycare provider that we provide transportation their youth to and from preschool. We thank you for thinking of us! Thank you!

Here is why the gift was given: Celebrated annually on November 13th, World Kindness Day is a global observation that emphasizes the need to be kind to one another in order to thrive peacefully as a global community. World Kindness Day was initiated by the World Kindness Movement at a 1998 Tokyo conference and has been celebrated around the world ever since. Participants believe that kindness has the power to change the world. World Kindness Week starts on World Kindness Day, November 13th, and ends on November 18th.

We are back to hiring another driver to our team!

After several years of not being able to run our third route due to our bus fleet, we are able to add the service back with having a reliable fleet come October!

CDL with passanger endorsement desired, but the buses coming in are non CDL so anyone with a MN DL is qualified to drive as long as you can pass a drug test (and subject to random after employment).

Call 507-375-7385 with any questions!

A No Travel Advisory will be in place by 10 pm on several state highways and I-90 in the following counties: Freeborn, Faribault, Blue Earth, Brown, Waseca, Nicollet, Le Sueur, Rock and Sibley.

* If you are seen driving on any highway, State or County, you WILL be ticketed. It’s not worth risking your life, the lives of others, and our deputies and first responders’ lives.

This message is to address a post going around amongst the Facebook Odin Community and is being addressed as a PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT involving a man going to doors asking kids to come to their vehicle and learning later it was a white bus with no letters, but then in fact it was a TMT bus and falsely using "I'm lost".

True story: Our TMT driver was in the city of Odin on Wednesday 10/16/24 to pick up a rider scheduled at 7:15AM. This rider has rode before, however this specific driver hadn't been there before and his GPS on his phone (our buses don't have map technology systems tablets) did bring him up one block South of the pick up location with the exact house number, but wrong street.

The driver did in fact go to the door when the rider didn't come out and knocked; two kids answered the door and he did ask for directions. He then proceeded to the right home and waited for 10 minutes for the passanger who ended up being a no show and proceeded back to Saint James to pick up other riders.

All of our TMT fleet buses are white with proper signage indicating TMT along with phone number and bus numbers on all sides of the vehicle. This specific bus, Bus 16 shown here, was in service and has four cameras on board and footage that can verify this activity.

We apologize if the children truly were terrified by the driver for having the wrong home, one block seperating them and asking for directions when GPS is proven to be faulty in our Watonwan County. In our quarterly department head meetings, it has been addressed how mapping does interupt our TMT work flow, but 911 systems are current on mapping and ultimately that's what matters, but TMT doesn't have that capability. There was nothing sinister about this situation needing to fear our drivers then or going forward.

TMT will take this event into account of using proper chanels of picking up passangers and using current technology.

If you have any questions regarding this incident, you can reach me, Allison Karau, Transit Director at 507-375-7385.
