“The Town of St. Michaels Parks & Recreation Advisory Board would like to invite residents and their families to a classic tree lighting event in Muskrat Park the day after Thanksgiving!

There will be live music, a Santa letter writing station, and local small businesses are chipping in hot cocoa and cookies for all!

This is a free event By the Community, For the Community. We encourage folks to bring cold weather accessories to donate to our Keep Warm-Give Warm drive--items will be distributed in our community for the chilly season ahead.

Come on over after gorging on leftovers Friday November 28th at 5:30pm in Muskrat Park--we'll have a fun program ahead of a special guest lighting the tree at 6:30pm. Folks are welcome to stay for continued merriment until we wrap things up at 7:30pm. Bring yourselves, bring your parents and grandparents, bring the kiddos, bring neighbors--let's make this a wonderful First Annual celebration!”

Free community event for Sunday, November 2, 4:10pm on the St. Michaels waterfront, at the Harbour Inn

After 25 years of sailing from St. Michaels Harbor, the historic 1926 yacht Sail Selina II will set sail for her final voyage. The sendoff will be a spectacular waterfront celebration featuring:

A boat parade organized by the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, including several of their vessels, three Harbor Shuttle boats, and the St. Michaels Fire Department’s fireboat shooting water in salute.
A stirring live performance by Randy Welsh, Easton’s beloved bagpiper, as Selina II departs the dock.
Complimentary champagne toasts for attendees.
Freshly shucked local oysters available for sale to mark the occasion.
It promises to be a beautiful, heartfelt community moment — a chance for residents and visitors alike to celebrate 25 incredible years of maritime history in St. Michaels.
