Our NUMBER ONE priority is safety and we pride ourselves on that. Prior to each rental we do a hands on
safety and operation voyage prior to sending you off on your own. We will go into the open water and ensure all operators know how to operate the vessel properly and safely. We go over driving, docking, anchoring, channel markers and how to handle an emergency. We know the best way to accomplish this is to actually do it. In Florida you don't need a license of any kind to operate a boat if you were born prior to January 1, 1988. That being said, we only rent our boats to those born prior to January 1, 1988. If you have never operated a boat before, we ask that you find someone in your party with boating experience to operate the vessel, that person will be signing the rental and damage agreement. When you have finalized your date we require a $50 reservation deposit to secure the date. That $50 reservation deposit will be credited to your boating experience at the time of your departure. (reservation deposit is non-refundable with the exception of a small craft advisory or rain indicated for more than 60% of the day forecasted on Bay News 9). The remaining balance will be paid prior to departure. We accept credit card payment for rentals. You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or your bank debit card, on our mobile cellular device, provided by "Square".
