Congratulations on Your Retirement, Deputy Mike Beach!
After more than 30 years of law enforcement and public service, we are proud to congratulate Deputy Mike Beach on his well-earned retirement.
Deputy Beach first joined Marion County Sheriff's Office as a temp-hire in 1990-1991 as a mechanic’s assistant. In 1993, he went to Stayton Police as a Reserve Officer. He was then hired in 1995 as a Police Officer. In 1998, he came back to MCSO as a Deputy, where he has been until his retirement.
During his time with MCSO, Deputy Beach served as a Patrol Deputy, Detective, Motor Deputy with the Traffic Team, Civil Deputy, Field Training Officer, Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor, Fi****ms Instructor, ConSim Instructor, Armorer, and CRASH Team investigator.
He was also active in the employee association, MCLEA, for over 20 years as a representative and a board member.
Throughout his career, Deputy Beach became a valued member of the Sheriff's Office family, making a difference and a lasting impact on many facets of MCSO.
Deputy Beach was the kind of deputy you could count on. He was steady, thorough, and experienced. He brought a calm, professional approach to every assignment and earned the trust and respect of those he worked alongside.
As he begins this exciting new chapter, Deputy Beach looks forward to spending more time with his wife and family and taking time to relax.
Please join us in thanking Deputy Beach for more than three decades of law enforcement service, and almost three decades of outstanding service to Marion County, and in wishing him all the best in retirement.
