🌱 A lot of sustainability conversations in trucking focus on future technology.
But some of the biggest operational waste in this industry still comes from things happening today.
Empty miles.
Poor trailer utilization.
Unnecessary idling.
Freight networks that force constant repositioning.
Trailers sitting loaded for days waiting on facilities.
None of those problems are new.
But they directly impact fuel consumption, congestion, equipment wear, and operating costs every single day.
The reality is, a large part of sustainability in transportation comes from running tighter operations.
Better planning.
Better network balance.
Better utilization of drivers and equipment.
Not every improvement in trucking needs to be flashy to make a meaningful impact.
