As a 3PL Sales Executive, you're working as a problem solver, managing and making quick decisions, and building your book of business. You are the one and only as far as your customers and carriers are concerned, making sure their freight is picked up and delivered across North America, year-round. You will be providing the highest levels of customized transportation services to our customers. Your focus will
be growing and managing your own portfolio of business with a key customer account(s). You'll constantly look to improve the customer experience by developing innovative logistics solutions and ensuring our customers' freight delivers on time.

PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* In this position, you will manage current customers and carrier accounts as well as cold calling to bring
in new business
* Must have a positive attitude and are able to take the ball and run with it! A "go-getter" who isn't afraid
of sales. There is a lot of time spent on the phone brokering and providing exceptional customer service
* Must have a superior knowledge of transportation logistics and DOT standards and regulations.
* Exceed customer on-time pick-up and delivery expectations; proactive analysis to prevent service failures
* Consistent and professional communications; effective, prompt and courteous communications with
respect to difficult situations, relaying service failures, etc.)
* Productive development of carrier relationships
* Quote, negotiate prices and oversee transportation services with carriers through prospecting, cold
calling, qualifying, and closing deals in an open transactional selling environment.
* Strong negotiation skills with driven results
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:
* Must have working knowledge of Freight Broker industry (2+ years experience)
* Working Knowledge and Utilization of a transportation management software
* McLeod TMS experience preferred
* Knowledge of Microsoft Tools (Ability to leverage Excel and other MS programs, including Word,
Outlook, etc.)
