We’ve been friends since we were six.
Before life taught us lessons.
Before I learned who I was or found my place, or how to be a “better” version of myself.
Before heartbreaks, careers, kids, moves, losses… all of it.
We’ve argued, laughed ‘til we cried, disappeared, come back, and held each other through it all.
But when we sit across from each other today, there’s this quiet, sacred knowing:
You knew me before the world told me who I should be.
And somehow, you still see her—the girl I was before life happened.
That’s the gift of old friends:
They reflect back the unfiltered truth of who we are.
The raw, tender, resilient soul underneath all the stories we’ve picked up along the way.
This is what authenticity is to me.
This is the what fills my soul—whether I’m coaching someone through a new chapter, or helping a brand find its true voice.
It’s not about becoming something new.
It’s about returning to who you’ve always been.
Spending time with old friends brings me back to my truth. If you’re feeling disconnected from that version of yourself, just know:
She’s still in there.
And she’s more than enough.
