Santa Clara County Airports

Santa Clara County Airports The Airports Division of Santa Clara County Roads & Airports Department operates Reid-Hillview and San Martin Airports.

The County Airports Administration is authorized by the Santa Clara County Code (Section A13-13 (c)) to "Plan, design, construct, maintain and operate County airports." The Board of Supervisors determines the level of service to be provided at the airports, and the Santa Clara County Airports Commission provides advice, studies, and recommendations to the Board on Airport issues. The County Airpor

ts are funded through the Airport Enterprise Fund which consists of the revenue generated from airport user fees. Some special projects receive additional funding from the FAA and Caltrans.

🇺🇸 4th of July Drone Show at Lake Cunningham Regional Park

If you’re flying into or out of Reid-Hillview Airport (RHV) this holiday weekend, please be aware of increased drone activity associated with the City of San José’s Independence Day celebration.

📅 Practice Flight: Friday evening, July 3
🎆 Drone Light Show: Saturday, July 4 (approximately 9:00 PM)
🎉 Festival Begins: 6:00 PM

While significant impacts to airport operations are not anticipated, pilots should remain vigilant and check current NOTAMs during preflight planning.
