The Mothership

The Mothership is the first brick-and-mortar location of the Nova Co-Lab & MutuuWell Fabrication, LLC. Located in San Marcos on 167 or 122 S. Edward Gary St. this location is divided into two parts; The Nova Co-Lab and Mutuwell Fabrication.

Nova Co is a space for artists both visual and musical to come inspire, create, and collaborate. Nova Co boasts a stage with sound system for band rehearsals and live shows, a recording studio (coming soon) to help artists lay down that breakthrough single, as well as rooms for private lessons or workshops. Nova Co not only operates as a musical venue but a visual arts gallery as well. With space to paint, sculpt and to sell and trade with local artists/vendors.

The second leg of the Mothership is Mutuwell Fabrication. This space is dedicated to the makers. With CNC, 3d Printing, Milling Machines and more, this area will be dedicated to heavy machinery and lofty ideas. With on-site experts if you can imagine it, we have the space to make it for you! This side of the mothership is open to more hands-on, experienced machinist but also will have classes for the most novice of makers. Custom engravings, 3d printed lights, LEDs, custom signage are just a fraction of what this space can do.

The doors to the Mothership open with our Cosmic Kickback on Thursday, Sept. 20th in accordance with Third Thursday Downtown Walkabout. Follow us on Social Media to follow our progress and hear about some secret and maybe not-so-secret community events that we will be hosting!
