The future of aviation touched down on the Central Coast! ✈️⚡

Today, the BETA Technologies ALIA CX300 made a special stop at ACI Jet at the San Luis Obispo County Airport (SBP), giving us a front-row seat to the next generation of flight.

The CX300 is a fully electric conventional takeoff and landing (eCTOL) aircraft. It flies with zero operational carbon emissions, paving the way for truly sustainable aerospace. At roughly $18 per hour in energy to operate, the aircraft promises game-changing economics for operators.

This isn't just a concept. With a 50-foot wingspan and a 200-cubic-foot cargo capacity (or room for 5 passengers), it's built for heavy lifting—specifically targeting organ transport, cargo logistics, and regional passenger travel. It’s whisper-quiet, too

Seeing the CX300 on the ramp at ACI Jet is a tangible reminder that sustainable, efficient flight isn't just a distant dream—it's a new reality.
