The so-called "trail supporters" have done nothing to actually promote trail construction in Santa Cruz County. In fact, supporters of "Santa Cruz County Greenway" and "Trail Now" have protested each and every section of trail that HAS gotten built or is in the pipeline.

The 2022 Ballot "Measure D, The Greenway Initiative" was architected by Manu Koenig and Greenway. Manu's 2020 campaign was funded by Greenway for this specific agenda.

That ballot initiative was Wildly Unpopular! It failed by a landslide, the least controversial rejection in Santa Cruz history.

At this point, everyone should understand that Manu Koenig still supports the Greenway agenda. This post is for informational purposes only.

Enthusiastic and well-provisioned signature collectors for "Greenway" have inundated Santa Cruz. What's it all about?

We are feeling a little bit nostalgic! Here's two mailings from the unpopular Greenway organization, one from the beginning of their failed campaign, and one from the end.

We do like the second one, as it accurately predicted a 73% voter preference for... Oh. Ha, ha, ha.

Little side note about the Santa Cruz Works poll. If you took the poll (as a Santa Cruz Works member/subscriber), and entered "No" as your preference, you would get a personal email from the director Doug Erickson trying to convince you to change your position.

MEASURE D GOES DOWN IN FU***NG FLAMES

Disappointed Bud Colligan, founder of Failing Greenway Incorporated and ringleader of Unpopular Greenway Initiative, wept into his tall glass of bourbon all night at the infamous Shadowbrook Pity Party. Sad!

(As of 3am he was reportedly riding alone in the well-loved Shadowbrook Funicular, drunkenly reversing up and down the short hill and mumbling over and over, "Ceci n'est pas une rame de métro.")
