Brooks' Services, LLC

Brooks' Services, LLC A Panhandle company, Brooks' Services provides towing and roadside services locally and intrastate open-air flatbed and bumper-pull transport.

Whether responding to an urgent winchout or reservation, we haul it all under 11Klbs. and answer the call! Founded in 2017 in Nashville, TN, Brooks’ Services initially started as a reno/construction based tractor service, building driveways and moving rock, stone, mulch, and gravel. Now located in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, Brooks’ Services has grown into a versatile transport service (no tractor)

. Utilizing a 24’ flatbed trailer with ramps, this husband/wife driving team serves as an in-town/local rapid response company to contractors needing last-minute runs or supplies or individuals needing large items moved. Throughout the Panhandle and neighboring SE states (within a 450+ mile radius), the couple specializes in hauling LSVs/golf carts, motorcycles, ATVs, large auction items, small equipment, and miscellaneous LTL requests. Working since their youth, they have a combined total of 47 years of customer service experience spanning service industry positions, administrative work, and trucking gigs. Prior to establishing his own logistics co., Brooks, as a CDL (Class A) Driver, drove big rigs over-the-road for a heavy-haul trucking company and an environmental emergency response company, and drove roll-offs in local routes moving construction debris dumpsters. Additional driving and operational experience includes: rental company boat hauling/launching, environmental spill cleanup, train wreck recovery, jet fuel tank maintenance, and heavy and small equipment operation. As a shelter volunteer, he also drove the mobile adoption unit on weekends, as he and his wife frequently led animal adoption events for many years. Most of her previous professional experience encompassed coordinating non-profit events, outreach programming, vendor participation, and volunteer management. Most recently the pair worked at an LSV/golf cart dealership where he, as a driver, handled deliveries and field service requests while she, as a sales administrator, facilitated sales paperwork and new cart delivery preparations. Now, often with the assistance of their personal canine companions, they have fused their skill sets to solely focus on transport and shipping logistics and expand Brooks’ Services.

To the ones that I promised I'll be coming home for Thanksgiving, here's what I was doing. We got the call for these the first of last week. Savannah Georgia to Ocala Florida. Some guys have a trailer big enough they could move three at a time. I can only do two. They wanted them here by 8:00 a.m. Monday. I didn't do first load until Thursday. It wasn't like I was just sitting at the house doing nothing. I already had loads lined up through Wednesday. That being said, I did not have time to come home. Being a small business and not knowing sometimes where your next job is coming from, maybe someday I'll get to the point, but right now, I cannot pass up work. Especially work like this that paid better than any load or loads I've ever done. Something that didn't give me four solid days of work I might could have passed up.

When I took this little girl in 8 weeks ago she was in bad shape. She was emaciated, dehydrated, had a bad skin irritation, covered in fleas and was biting. Truly, I took her in on the mindset of just fostering her. In fact, I fell in love with her and don't know that I would have ever followed through with the fostering part. God works in mysterious ways but God is great and God is good. I believe that God had someone pick Squeak up and that someone is going to take great care of her and I did what needed to be done to set her up for a great life. Again, that was the original intention anyway. I have searched the area backwards and forwards two days in a row, multiple times. She's not out here cold and hungry. Someone has without a doubt picked her up. In a situation like this there's only one way to be and that is positive. I believe that she's fine and she's with good people and that she will live a very long healthy happy life. God knew I would truggle with the fostering part so he forced it upon me. As an animal lover finding the most positive scenario to believe in is the only way. Sure there's a lot of other very bad scenarios but faith prevails.

Thanks to everyone for trying to help me find her. I've met several of you out in the field and it's truly appreciated.

I love you Squeak. You're a good kitty. You're going to be a once in a lifetime pet. I will never forget our time together.

Please spread the word! Squeak was LOST on November 18, 2022 in Port Orange, FL 32128 near McDonald's Taylor Road

Message from Owner: Please, please, please keep your eyes open for this little pouncer, who runs sideways, and wants to explore, play, love, sleep and do it all over again all day long, every day. Squeak is our newest little one and just recently joined the clan after we put down our oldest cat almost a year ago. She's my husband co-pilot in his travels and our little adventurer. Squeaking when she talks, her purr box speaks/vibrates just as loudly as her youthful spirit of discovery.

Description: Very vivacious, active (3-month-old approx.) kitten named Squeak for the constant noise she makes. Plays hard, loves hard, sleeps harder. We run a transport company, and she's my husband's road cat/co-pilot when he travels. Pictured with brother, Frank, she sleeps as hard as she plays and vice versa. Will be mid-pounce and pass out to take a nap and start all over again shortly thereafter. We love her, and my husband is devastated she escaped/or was cat-napped somehow this morning while he was picking up breakfast at McDonald's. Brooks' number is above. She responds to her name and comes to it (though she may take a few side trips) when called.
