Thank you Dogwood Animal Rescue Project for all of the amazing work you and your volunteers do! Our team treasured these few minutes of cuddles!

There are so many wonderful people working together to help these adorable orphans. An animal control officer got a call for a dying dog with pups. Mama didn’t make it and the pups went to the shelter but are too young for shelter life. The call went out needing rescue and we agreed to take them. Shelter staff, advocates, pilots and ground transport volunteers all worked together to bring them to us, along with a mature dog and some kittens.

The pups are border collie type mixes of maybe 6 weeks old. Check back for more.

Find out about how some of the amazing volunteers at the Charles M. Schulz - Sonoma County Airport are making a difference in their community by introducing kids to the thrill of aviation. (And, we are so proud of Austin's accomplishments and Josh's contributions featured here!)

Local aviation professionals are taking kids on free flights and teaching them about airplanes to help generate interest in pursuing a career in the industry.

A great story and a piece of local avation history!

Local aviator Fred Wiseman made the historic mail flight in 1911 between Petaluma and Santa Rosa. Local museum honors him and the pivotal moment in mail delivery history starting this April.
