Our Bark Around The Locks benefit tour was a resounding success! Original Soo Locks Boat Tours would like to thank all of our amazing Guests and Crew that generously donated funds, food, treats, and supplies to Chippewa County Animal Shelter. We would also like to thank Holly Henderson and the Volunteers and Staff at Chippewa County Animal Shelter for their dedication and hard work. We so appreciate the immense effort that you all put into keeping the fur babies of Chippewa County safe, warm and well fed until they find their forever homes.

There is nothing quite cruising on the St. Marys River with Original Soo Locks Boat Tours. Today, we’re continuing our series "Meet the Captain" to show you an example of the amazing maritime adventure that awaits you in the 2027 season!

Our captains don’t just steer the ship, they are also exemplary at giving our guests a one of a kind experience From navigating massive 1,000-foot freighters to sharing the exciting experience of the Soo Locks, they bring the Great Lakes to life in a way you have to experience to believe.

While our vessels are wrapping up for the year, the wheelhouse is already spinning with excitement for next season. We are dropping anchor on this summer, but we are already counting down the days until we can welcome you back on board!

WE GOT IT! 😆

​The M/V Edwin H. Gott made its way up through the Poe Lock early this morning, while the CSL Whitefish Bay waited its turn to lock downbound right behind it! It’s been a busy and beautiful morning here at the Soo Locks.
