Qwik cab Offering a better transportation for Sault Ste Marie MI!!

As many have seen the surge in the gas prices this decision has not been a easy decision by any means. I am regretting that I have to announce another price increase for the mean time. Hopefully this is only temporary. Starting immediately we have to up our price from 12 dollars in city limits to 15 dollars. Again this decision hasn't been a easy decision for us but in order to keep the business going we have to go with the time's and prices that are upon us. We hope our customers can understand this is a forced decision that we had to make. We appreciate every single one of you that stands by and supports us during this time. I assure you when the prices drop so will we. It's not just the gas that affects us on the price increase. We have vehicle repairs, commercial liability insurance, driver commission's and other costs as well. The way I look at it is this is make it or break it during this time. Again we at Qwik Cab truly do appreciate all of our customers and we will hopefully still continue seeing you all.

We here at Qwik Cab appreciate your continued loyalty and support over the years. As with everything everywhere, the costs of maintaining the vehicles we use to provide service to everyone has risen exponentially. Due to the cost of vehicle repairs, maintenance, rising phone bill costs, and rising insurance rates we have had to make the decision to raise our rates. The changes will take effect 11/1/2025 and will be as follows :

Within Sault city limits...aka everything that is currently $10- will now be $12

L&M- $12
Andary- $12
Riverside trailer park- $12

Shallows/Sherman park drive/- $14

Sherman park beach- $13

Coast guard housing- $13

New res- $13

Once again, we appreciate very much your loyalty, support, and understanding as we strive to continue to serve you all with the continued dedication and reliability you have to come expect from us.

Starting from here on out 12-12-23. And yes it's sad I even have to make this post. If you do not have money for the cab we will just stop dealing with you. If you can afford to go out on the town and the casino then you should know u need to have cab fare. We are done allowing people to play the oh I'm sorry we don't have money and I'll get ya back tomorrow crap!We don't owe u anything and we're tired of the excuses. We live off this as this is our job!!! Makes me wonder if they go into a bar or casino and pull that same crap!? This is no longer acceptable or allowed at qwik cab. Have money ahead of time or please don't call us anymore. I'm sorry it sounds brutal but sometimes you have to put a foot down!!! On the other note we appreciate everyone who makes our job and life easier! Thank you for supporting our small business. We appreciate all of you.

Starting 12-10-23 our fares will go from 9 dollars to 10 dollars. I apologize for any and all inconveniences this may cause. It's not easy nor cheap running a business. Cost wise it just makes sense as there's a lot of overhead. We appreciate and thank all of you for supporting our business and hope you will continue to keep riding with us.

We would like to take a brief moment and give our appreciation for another small local business for creating our new decal/logo. S&S graphics did amazing with 2 out of the 4 van's we have and our shirts and hoodies. Thank you so much for the hard work. We love the new look!

We are closed due to weather. At this time we are only doing work time calls. We will try our best to open back up for normal transportation needs asap. As stated we are only accepting time calls to and from work. Sorry for the inconvenience

Attention customers

As we all know we under a severe winter weather advisory. After all we live in the u.p so what else should we expect. We will stay running as much as we can. If the roads get to bad we will only be open for work and emergency transportations as needed. But until then we will remain open for all runs. Please be patient and understanding once the storm starts. As always here at qwik cab we like to put everyone's safety first.
