Institute of Aviation at Parkland College Institute of Aviation at Parkland College The Parkland College Institution of Aviation offers an educational advantage to all students.

This is a regular municipal airport with actual commercial flights. The institute has its own FAA-approved aircraft maintenance shop with mechanics and technicians who keep the training fleet in first-class condition. You can chose from an Associate of Science degree in aviation and transfer your credits to a four-year university or you can earn a private pilot and commercial pilot certifications on the way to the degree.
