Vietnam & Cambodia have been calling… and this time, I’m going too! 🇻🇳🇰🇭

In August 2027, I’ll be hosting a very special journey along the Mekong River with AmaWaterways, and I would love for you to join me.

We’ll experience Vietnam and Cambodia in a way I think is absolutely incredible, combining the excitement of the cities with the smaller villages, local culture, history and everyday life along the Mekong.

And the best part? You don’t have to figure any of this out on your own. I’ll be traveling right alongside the group.

I’ve put together a page with the itinerary, ship, dates and all the details.

Take a look and see if the Mekong might be your next adventure 👇

Have questions? Send me a message. I’m happy to talk through the trip with you!

Some trips get better after sunset. A glowing shoreline, northern lights, a clear desert sky, and streets filled with lanterns can be the reason to travel in the first place.

Night experiences ask for more planning than the photographs suggest. Moon phase, weather, light pollution, seasonal timing, transportation, and the location of the hotel all affect what clients can actually see. Even an illuminated city garden benefits from choosing the right hour.

I treat after-dark plans as real itinerary anchors, not extras added after dinner. That may mean a late start the next morning, a remote cabin, or an extra night to improve the odds of good conditions.

If the night sky is on your list, let’s plan the trip around seeing it properly. Reach out.

San Francisco has always known how to reinvent itself, and the city is in the midst of another comeback. New art trails, illuminated landmarks, buzzy restaurants, and revived neighborhoods are bringing a renewed sense of energy to the Bay Area's beauty. 🌁🥂

Read on about its new golden age, then let’s work together to plan your next vacation:

New restaurants, buzzy bars, and fresh openings – from JouJou and Frankie’s to the Big Art Loop and A Bathing Ape’s new flagship – are fueling a comeback in this Bay Area beauty.

Michelin's highest rating for hotels is three Keys. Fewer than 150 places on Earth have it, and one of them is ten canvas tents in the Namib Desert.

Zannier Sonop is built directly onto granite boulders above 13,800 private acres of desert, styled like a 1920s expedition that never packed up: four-poster beds, leather trunks, clawfoot tubs facing one of the oldest landscapes on the planet. A guest once told me it felt like sleeping inside an old expedition novel, and I've never described it better myself.

Then dinner arrives, five courses, served by butlers in tuxedos, in the middle of the desert. Days bring sunrise rides on horseback and hot-air ballooning; nights bring an open-air cinema and telescopes under some of the darkest skies anywhere. Let’s start planning!

If you were planning your first African safari, where would you go? 🦁🌍

South Africa is often one of our favorite places to start for first-time safari travelers. You get incredible wildlife, beautiful luxury lodges, exceptional guides, and the opportunity to experience so much more beyond safari, from Cape Town to the Cape Winelands.

But there really isn’t one “best” safari destination.
If seeing the Great Migration is your dream, Kenya or Tanzania might be calling your name. If you want something more remote and exclusive, Botswana could be the perfect fit. And if gorilla trekking is on your bucket list, that takes us in an entirely different direction.

That’s what makes planning Africa so much fun. The question isn’t “Where is the best place to go on safari?” It’s “What kind of safari experience are YOU dreaming about?”

So, tell me in the comments: What’s at the top of your African safari bucket list? 👇

I’m curious how everyone feels about this…
As our families get older, I think more and more of us are realizing that time together may be the greatest luxury we have.

I’ve been planning more multigenerational trips lately, grandparents traveling with their children and grandchildren, and I love seeing what happens when everyone gets away from the schedules, sports, work, school and everyday life.

And no, it doesn’t have to mean 12 people doing everything together every minute! 😂

Some of the best multigenerational trips I’ve planned have a little something for everyone, time together, time apart, great experiences, and plenty of room for different ages and interests.
Africa. Alaska. Italy. Hawaii. A villa in Europe. A cruise where everyone can do their own thing during the day and meet for dinner at night.
Those are the trips families talk about for YEARS.
So I’m curious…

If you could take your entire family anywhere in the world for one incredible trip, where would you take them?
And who’s paying? You or Grandma? 😂

My most-requested new property this year isn't in Europe or the Maldives. It's on a clifftop in Costa Rica.

Nekajui opened last year on a clifftop in Peninsula Papagayo, and it already holds two Michelin Keys. Some villas are reached by a wooden suspension bridge across a ravine. A funicular glides down through the trees to the beach club. The spa alone covers 27,000 square feet in the canopy, and dinner at Puna, from Peruvian chef Diego Muñoz, is reason enough to visit.

My favorite part: every stay comes with a personal host who handles everything over a simple text. Sunset table, surf lesson, a monkey sighting you want repeated tomorrow, one message.

Liberia's airport is about 40 minutes away, with nonstops from many U.S. cities, which makes this one of the easiest world-class resorts to reach from anywhere.
