Newark (EWR) Prior Permission Required (PPR) Notice for General Aviation Operators
Due to an expected increase in traffic volume at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), a Prior Permission Required (PPR) / Reservation requirement will be in effect for all transient general aviation operators from June 6, 2026, through July 20, 2026.

Important Information for Operators:
✔ A valid reservation must be obtained at least 24 hours in advance.
✔ When requesting a reservation, operators must provide the aircraft registration (N-number) and the call sign under which the flight will be filed and operated.
✔ Daily reservation lists will be shared with Air Traffic Control (ATC) to verify arriving aircraft.
✔ Aircraft arriving without a valid reservation may be denied access and turned away.
Operators planning flights into EWR during this period are strongly encouraged to secure their reservations as early as possible to avoid operational disruptions.
